GMM research MM SYNC+/104/V35 communications adapter Simple Type: Expansion Module
The GMM Sync2+/104E/MP? can be used in a wide range of synchronous communications environments. The adapter's asynchronous capability allows it to communicate with any standard asynchronous device such as a terminal or a modem. The GMM SYNC+/104/V35 features: Two fully independent full duplex synchronous communications ports. Data rates up to 1 MBPS (must use DMA). Full Duplex DMA on both serial ports. All four DMA channels are selected by software.

- 128 byte EEPROM of which 96 bytes are available for customer use.
- Data rates up to 1 MBPS (must use DMA).
- Eight software selectable interrupt channels IRQ 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, and 15.
- Full Duplex DMA on both serial ports. All four DMA channels are selected by software.
- MP Version: RS-232, V.35, RS-422, RS-485, RS-449, EIA-530, EIA-530A, or V.36 V35 Version: V.35 (only)
- Port 2 (J2) can be configured via software to any of the following electrical interfaces independently for each transmitter and receiver.
- Switch selected I/O address.
- The GMM Sync2+/104E/MP? uses the industry standard Z85230 Serial Communications Controller.
- The GMM Sync2+/104E/MP? supports the following synchronous modes. Sync, BiSync, MonoSync, HDLC, and SDLC using NRZ, NRZI, FM, and Manchester data formats.
- Two fully independent full duplex synchronous communications ports.
